I know there's some of you out there looking for a slightly less-stressful, endless experience. For you, I spent last night digging around in the ini files figuring how to make the Avatar Project obsolete.
DrJones254 4 years ago #2 So for every facility that is up the aliens will build 50% faster on the avatar project. If you kill alol the Reds you will slow their progress to a halt, but they can still make progress.
Here are my results! =)NOTE: The ini files refer to the different difficulties as Easy (Rookie), Normal (Veteran), Classic (Commander) and Impossible (Legend). Adjust which values you change accordingly.Step 1: Locate and open the DefaultGameData.ini file in Notepad. For me this file was located in C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonXCOM 2XComGameConfig; your path might slightly differ.Step 2: Press Ctrl+F within Notepad to bring up the search bar. Search for 'FacilityDoomAdd'. It should bring you to this block of text.FacilityDoomAdd0=(DoomChances0=(DoomToAdd=1, PercentChance=100));EasyFacilityDoomAdd1=(DoomChances0=(DoomToAdd=1, PercentChance=100));NormalFacilityDoomAdd2=(DoomChances0=(DoomToAdd=1, PercentChance=75), DoomChances1=(DoomToAdd=2, PercentChance=25));ClassicFacilityDoomAdd3=(DoomChances0=(DoomToAdd=1, PercentChance=100));ImpossibleFor the difficulty you wish, set DoomToAdd=0 and PercentChance=0.
